I experienced my first “A-ha” moment after running my first usability test. That’s when I understood just how much users truly needed someone on their side to communicate their needs, and UX designers are their best advocates. Since then, I knew this was where I wanted to be and I haven’t looked back. I like to think of that first usability test session as my non-radioactive superhero UX origin story.

Outside of UX projects and reading comic books, you can catch me playing or learning a new tabletop roleplaying game, singing along at a punk rock show, and listening to yet another new podcast.

 Outside the World of UX

Mike and his Dungeons and Dragons group dressed up and roleplaying as their characters at the Renaissance Festival. Their characters just got kicked out of a tavern.
